about chord patterns and used them extensively. One chord pattern (find more patterns) that's easy to learn is: Octave-Chord. If you are in the key of C, then the pattern is C with the left hand pinky and C with the left hand thumb, played together. This is below Middle C. That's an octave, eight notes from C to C |
Then the pattern plays the C chord with the left hand. C with left pinky, E with middle left finger and G with left thumb played together.
The piano chord sequence is Octave - Chord to the beat of the music. If in 4/4 time, it's Octave-Chord-Octave -Chord, 1-2-3-4 is the count at whatever speed you want. 3/4 timing is Octave-Chord-Chord 1-2-3.
Practice this left hand piano chord by itself till you can do it without
thinking.

The right hand can play the C chord, to the count of 1-2-3-4 or 1-2-3. The C chord is played at Middle C with the right hand thumb on C, the middle finger on E and the right hand thumb on G.
